Rhorer Couture was founded by Jacey Rhorer with the understanding that a hat just isn’t a hat, it is a wearable symbol of status as well as a visual reminder of power, beauty, diversity, femininity, and expression.
With a determined spirit to keep the dying art of millinery alive, Rhorer Couture was born. Though inspiration from around the world can be seen in her creations, Jacey leans on her Southern Roots.
Each millinery design is hand made and no two pieces are the same. Extravagant trimmings, bold looks, fun flare, and fine materials are all things to expect with Rhorer Couture.
Meet the Milliner
Jacey wears many hats! Her “top hat” is being a mom to her two amazing sons. She is also an Entrepreneur and successful business owner. Rhorer Couture is not the only business that Jacey owns. She is the owner of Spirits Sports Academy in Henderson, KY where she was born and raised.
After graduating from Henderson County High School, the small-town girl initially attended Western Kentucky University where she was a cheerleader. While studying Fashion Merchandising and Textiles at WKU, Jacey soon realized she wanted to add the art aspect of fashion to her future career. She landed in Chicago where she obtained her BA of Fine arts in Fashion Design from Columbia College Chicago.
Now, she stands with over 20 years of experience being a Milliner. This experience has landed her the coveted title of The Official Milliner of the Kentucky Derby Festival. Helping women exert confidence and self-expression through her designs has fueled Jacey's passion and paved the way to accomplishing her dreams by turning millinery, a dying art, into a rare gem in Kentucky; a state where
many people told her fashion designers don't make it! Jacey doesn't standby, she stands out, and she clearly expresses this through her creations! Her time has come, her time in now! It's time to SEE HER RHORER!
